January Favourites

Hi everyone,

Can you believe that we’re one month into 2021! I certainly can’t…

Today’s blog post is going to be all about the things I’ve been loving in the month of January. So without further ado…

Bridgerton (Netflix)

I feel like everyone has watched Bridgerton by this point (and if you haven’t, where have you been!) Bridgerton is a show on Netflix set in Regency era England focusing on the Bridgerton family, particularly Daphne Bridgerton, who tries to find love with the Duke of Hastings who is determined to never marry. My favourite way to describe Bridgerton is; it’s like a Jane Austen novel, but with nudity. The show is also narrated by Julie Andrews which is just amazing!

The Yoga Corner (Youtube)

The Yoga Corner is a Youtube channel that I’ve recently subscribed to. The channel is run by Ciara Foster, who also has her own Booktube channel. If you love yoga, I’d definitely recommend subscribing to this channel. Ciara is a great yoga teacher; she’s calm and explains the asanas well if you’re a beginner. So far, she’s uploaded 25 videos and I think I’ve very nearly completed all her flows!

You can find her channel here.

A Perfect Planet (BBC1)

A Perfect Planet on BBC1 is David Attenborough’s new nature documentary series. I never miss anything that David Attenborough makes and A Perfect Planet was no exception. As with most of David’s shows, the point is to show us how beautiful and remarkable our world is and why we should really make it a priority to protect it. This is very apparent in this series and I’ve been blown away by the amazing scenes across the globe.

Meditation

I’m sure I have mentioned meditation a couple of times before on my favourites list. I’ve continued to use Headspace to guide my meditation the past few months, but this month in particular I’ve really started to integrate it into my morning routine. To wake up in the morning, make my matcha tea and do ten minutes of meditiation whilst the birds chirp in the background makes me so incredibly happy and calm. It’s the little things.

What have you been loving this month?

Thanks for reading!

Love, Zoë x
