November Favourites

Hi everyone,

Today’s post is going to be my November favourites. Honestly, how have we got to the point in the year where I’m starting to think about my blogging and reading goals for 2021, my favourite books I read this year, and reflecting on my goals for 2020…

December is just around the corner so here’s what I’ve been loving in November.

The Queen’s Gambit (Netflix)

Like everyone else, I’ve been watching and loving The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix. The hype around this show has been crazy and, to be honest, I can absolutely understand why. Anya-Taylor Joy plays an orphaned chess prodigy called Beth Harman on her way to becoming the best chess player in the world. From the description you could be forgiven for not immediately thinking this programme would be intense and compelling. But it is; it really pulls you in! Definitely one of the best series of the year.

HP Watchalong (with Kelly Prince-Wright on Instagram)

I recently re-watched all eight of the Harry Potter films as part of a HP movie marathon that was organised by Kelly Prince-Wright on Instagram. Besides being an amazing instagrammer and producing beautiful content, the watchalong with her and hundreds of other followers was great. It was also the perfect time (seasonally and mentally) for me to watch Harry Potter and be fully immersed in that world again.

The Great British Bake Off

I’m almost certain that I put the Bake Off in my favourites when it started but this month saw the final and the joy and happiness I got from this whole season made me want to talk about it again. It felt really comforting to have the Bake Off on every Tuesday this year – despite how much has changed in the world, we still had the things we love to keep us going. The whole series was so warming and really hit the spot in 2020.

Flo with Zo Lockdown Yoga

If you know me, you’ll know that I try to incorporate yoga in to my everyday routine. Finding new yoga instructors and flows that I love can be quite hard but Youtube really does deliver! Flo with Zo (hello name twin!) has organised a lockdown yoga series for every day that the UK was in its second lockdwon (we’re still going…!) and I’ve loved every flow! They’ve been so varied – some flows are challenging and make you sweat, whilst others are relaxing and perfect to do before bed. If you’re looking for some new yoga flows, I would definitely recommend this channel.

What have you been loving this month?

Thanks for reading!

Love, Zoë xx
