I recently wrote a blog post on my favourite films to watch when I’m feeling down. I wanted to write a post on my favourite TV shows to watch and also my favourite books to read when I’m feeling down.
A lot of the TV shows that I love to watch when I’m feeling down are often short episodes and very funny (or at least I find them very funny). Please let me know what you love to watch when you’re feeling down. I’m always looking for new suggestions!
I’ve tried to put the channels that I watch these programmes on where possible.
Peep Show (Channel 4 and Netflix)
Gavin and Stacey (BBC)
The Office (UK) (Netflix)
An Idiot Abroad
Derry Girls (Channel 4 and Netflix)
Friday Night Dinner (Channel 4)
The Great British Bake Off (Channel 4)
This Way Up (Channel 4)
Chewing Gum (Channel 4)
Killing Eve (BBC)
This Country (BBC)
People Just Do Nothing (Netflix)
Louis Theroux’s Weird Weekends (Netflix)
Sex Education (Netflix)
Pure (Channel 4 and Netflix)
Still Game (BBC and Netflix)
That ’70s Show (Netflix)
Ja’mie: Private School Girl (BBC)
Impractical Jokers (Netflix)
There’s so many other TV shows that I love to watch but none that would come under a “comfort” watch as much as the shows mentioned above.
Thanks for reading!
Love, Zoë xx
