June Favourites

Hi everyone,

How is it July already? I feel like I blinked and June had disappeared.

Here’s some of the things I’ve been loving this past month…

Drink Me Chai Spiced Latte

I’ve always loved drinking chai spiced latte but only ever drank it at fancy coffee shops where they charge you £4 for a small cup. I discovered Drink Me Chai’s range of chai latte and I’m officially obsessed! I’ve very nearly finished my first pot and am already thinking about buying more. It’s such a warming, relaxing drink – like a warm hug.

The Handmaid’s Tale Season 3

It’s back! I’ve been looking forward to the new season of The Handmaid’s Tale since that huge cliffhanger they left season 2 on (I won’t say anything here, but if you haven’t watched it, please do!) I adored the book and I really do think that the TV show does the gritty, scarily real, and eerie story justice. Do you watch The Handmaid’s Tale?

Painting, drawing and doodling

I’ve been wanting to get back into art recently. I find it so relaxing, a great way to unwind and it’s a way that I can let my imagination go crazy and run wild. I’ve been really enjoying painting and drawing each weekend – hopefully I’ll get better with lots more practice!

Tarot Cards

This is something quite new to me; I’ve only just bought my first tarot deck and I’m very much still learning and exploring the whole process. I purchased the original Rider-Waite tarot deck (you know the typical, vintage-y looking tarot cards that are always in films…). I can’t believe that these cards were first created in 1910 – that already makes it feel like I’m holding a little bit of magic in my hands.

Richmond

Richmond Park will always hold a special place in my heart – it’s one of my favourite places to visit in Spring, Summer (actually, any time of year…). It’s the perfect place to visit if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of London and surround yourself with nature. The park is huge and deer roam around next to you! It’s crazy that somwhere like this exists in the heart of London.

What have you been loving this month?

Thanks for reading.
