Winter TBR

Hi everyone,

It’s now time for another seasonal TBR. My Winter TBR doesn’t feature as many books as my Autumn TBR and that’s because I’m predicting I won’t be reading as much as I want to (mainly becaise of Christmas celebrations and the Christmas countdown). However, this is definitely a TBR list I’m super excited about starting!

#1 Another Night Before Christmas by Carol Ann Duffy

An adaptation of ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas. This book looks beautifully illustrated and full of magic!

#2 The Christmas Box by Richard Paul Evans

This is one of my childhood favourites and a book that I’ve started reading every year.

#3 A Christmas Carol and Other Christmas Writings by Charles Dickens

Reading this book every year at Christmas has been a tradition for me since I was about 9 years old. Every year I love it even more.

#4 Winter Magic curated by Abi Elphinstone

This is a collection of short stories by award-winning authors all writing about the magic of Winter. With stories called “A Night at the Frost Fair” and “Someone Like the Snow Queen”, I’m expecting this to be such an enchanting read.

#5 Winter edited by Melissa Harrison

Described as “an anthology for the changing seasons”. As Winter is one of my favourite seasons, I thought this would be the perfect read for being curled up indoors. There are 3 other books in the series; Spring, Summer and Autumn that I may consider buying if I enjoy this one.

Thanks for reading my Winter TBR! What are you planning on reading around Christmastime?
