So I haven’t actually been tagged in this, but I loved all the questions so much and loved reading other people’s answers that I wanted to do it anyway!
(I wonder, can you tell that I really love Autumn by my previous posts?)
I found this specific tag on Abbie’s blog, a fellow Autumn lover who created the tag.
What signifies the start of Autumn for you?
The leaves changing colour. I love when the sea of green leaves from summer slowly starts to show specks of red, yellow and orange. I think when the weather starts to get a little bit colder too and it’s almost too cold to get out of bed in the morning.
What is your favourite Autumn scent?
Bonfires! It’s such a nostalgic smell for me and instantly makes me happy.
What is your favourite Autumn colour?
Burgundy! That sort of red wine colour is perfect for this time of year.
Are you a fan of PSL (pumpkin spice latte)?
What is your favourite Autumn drink?
My favourite Autumn drink is pretty much my favourite drink all year round which is a cup of tea! (English Breakfast Tea to be precise)
What is your favourite coffee shop and their drink of choice?
I would probably say Costa Coffee and that’s mainly for their gingerbread latte (I love that it comes with the mini gingerbread man of the side).
Apple pie or pumpkin pie?
Apple pie! I’ve never really known people in the UK to eat pumpkin; I don’t think it’s as big a thing here (but let me know if you do!)
What TV show, new or old, are you looking forward to in the next few months?
I’ve just started watching Peaky Blinders with my boyfriend (we’re very late to the hype) but we love it!
What is your favourite Autumn fashion trend?
Turtle-neck jumpers in every colour. I think I’ve almost collected every shade. Oh, and I love faux fur coats! I have a few in my collection.
What is your favourite comfort food to enjoy in the colder months?
I love making a bean chilli and having that on a jacket potato or on nacho crisps with lots (and lots) of melted cheese.
What is your favourite Autumn activity?
I love being outside in Autumn. Just walking through a park, watching all the leaves fall down and crunching beneath my feet. That would be my perfect day.
Are you a fan of horror movies?
Nope. No. Not at all.
Do you ever do anything fun for Halloween?
Most of the time I’m normally indoors watching Halloween films and pigging out on sweets by myself haha. I do still like to get dressed up though I find planning and choosing a costume more stressful now than when I was younger.
What was your favourite part of Halloween as a child?
I loved going to friends Halloween parties where we’d all dress up, play games and do apple bobbing.
Are you a bigger fan of Bonfire Night or Halloween?
I think Bonfire Night! The smell of bonfires is one of my favourites so maybe that’s why.
What is your dream destination to visit in Autumn?
I’d love to visit Canada in the Autumn. I think all the colours of the leaves would be absolutely beautiful.
Do you always forget about the clocks going back?
Nope. I’ve made a note of it ages ago because I know that’s the day when it’ll start getting really hard to wake up in the morning when it’s 7am and still pitch black outside!
When do you usually start preparing for Christmas?
6th November haha! When Bonfire Night celebrations are over.
Thanks for reading! If you love Autumn too then feel free to join in on the tag. I can’t wait to read your answers
